Talal is an Internal Medicine resident physician at Yale New Haven Health Hospital. He holds an MD from the Lebanese University in Lebanon, where he was born and raised. Prior to joining Yale, he was a research fellow at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute/Harvard Cancer Center studying epigenetics and cell state transitions in solid tumors. In the lab, he is interested in applying single-cell multi-omics to understand changes in cell states occurring during the development of aortic and coronary artery disease to identify therapeutic targets and improve clinical outcomes. Outside of the lab, Talal enjoys soccer, karaoke, broadway shows, and trying out new cuisines with his co-residents in the New Haven area.
