Hi my name is Sophia Szady and I have been a Computational Postgraduate Associate in the Hattie Chung Lab since July 2024. In the Hattie Chung Lab I am working on connecting single cell and spatial ovarian data in order to gain a greater understanding of immune cell populations. Before coming to Yale, I graduated from Colby College where I studied Computational Biology. My research prior to the Chung Lab has spanned a broad range of topics, from initially wanting to be a software engineer and looking at object detection for autonomous vehicles. For my undergraduate senior thesis I helped develop a non-invasive behavioral classifier for mouse huddling behavior. Outside the lab I like to rock climb, read, and go see live music.
